Faces of Female Leadership In Merced County

The Faces of Female Leadership in Merced County event held on November 10, 2022, proved a successful event with a fabulous panel of Speakers. Co-Sponsored by the League of Women Voters of Merced County & the Soroptimist International of Merced, the attendees listened to words of inspiration from local female leaders, Teresa Burrola, CEO of Merced County Fair, Sue Emanivong, CEO of Tsunami Collaboration and Rev Ella Luna-Gara, Pastor of United Methodist Church.

It was lovely to be at the Faces of Female Leadership, held at the Elks n Merced!  Approximately 80+ local faces were in attendance, as words of wisdom were shared by the panel of speakers.  Merced City School District, the United Way of Merced County, Walsh, Cassady, & Walsh, and Taking Flight – Community Collaboration Change, provided support for the exceptional luncheon.  Pictured top above, left to right are myself, Dr Toni Pirtle, former Merced College CTE & Business Resource Center Dean, next to Elaine Craig, retired Merced College Business Resource Director, as well as a  current BRC team member, and Dr Shelly Conner, another former Business Resource Center Dean.  Pictured below left: Room View. Pictured Below Right, Sue Emanivong, CEO, Tsunami Collaboration.  A fun time had by all 🙂
